CREATIVE PHILOSOPHY

I am a creator. Through and through- I only find meaning in work that I am able to do if it has potential for real personal and emotional impact on my audience. Finding true joy in a creative endeavor is that challenge presenting itself and being overcome. Ideas and Story; these parts of the human experience are both integral and irreplaceable pieces of how I create.

I have always taught my students that the best design, editing and storytelling are done when it does not get in the way of what is being communicated.

I will always explore and push myself to learn. Understanding the how and why of new things fuels my growth.

This type of instruction came naturally considering my experience and skillset.

In an effort to present an abundance of information that could not be condensed, I was tasked with presenting the Columbine High School Art Department offerings to potential new students at an event.
